Melancholia

Aplocalyptic Tragedy

Aplocalyptic Tragedy

It's a weird one! I'd watch anything with this cast though. Kiefer Sutherland, Alexander Skarsgard and Kirsten Dunst. It's a two part movie with beautiful photography. Grab your kleenex. I cried.

The End of the Tour

Existential Drama

Existential Drama

This is the first movie that I enjoyed Jesse Eisenberg (from the Social Network). I watched it for Jason Segel, who is fantastic in this role. It's not a tear jerker or a typical Segel comedy performance. It's introspective and interesting. It's also based on a true story about writer David Foster Wallace. Definitely worth a watch.

Mockingbird Don't Sing

True Story of Abused Feral Child

True Story of Abused Feral Child

The account of the feral child that proved the Critical Period Theory correct. The script seems to hit the mark pretty closely from what I read about the real girl, "Genie" Wiley. Tarra Steele's performance alone is worth watching. Unfortunately this was only her second and her last movie.

Hilarious and Shocking Documentary

Hilarious and Shocking Documentary

To describe it would give it away. This guy is the most hilarious and adorable subject I've ever seen in a documentary. This is a must see!

Netflix

Talhotblond

Jaw Dropping Documentary

Jaw Dropping Documentary

Another documentary about lonely people getting sucked into the virtual world and the drama that comes along with it. This one has so many curve balls that, by the end, I was speechless. Can't find it for free online but Netflix has it on dvd.

Chef

Foodie Tale of Triumph

Foodie Tale of Triumph

A light movie with a great cast featuring Jon Favreau. Cute, sweet, and made me want to get a food truck. Then I googled food trucks and decided just to make myself a grilled sandwich instead.
