Travel Bloggers and Vloggers
If you read our About Us section, you know that we both have lived a lot of places. I couldn't think of a place where I wanted to "settle down". Then it dawned on me that I didn't want to settle any one place at all. My sister had once referred to me as a gypsy, and she was right. The word nomad came to mind. I googled it and found a whole subculture of people who travel full time.
The first blog I came across that peaked my interest was Globetrotter Girls. Dani Heinrich even wrote a book on house sitting. It's called The Ultimate Guide to Housesitting. Great name right?! I didn't want to house sit, but it did get the wheels turning on the travel life.
Ben wasn't too interested in looking at a website called the Globetrotter Girls, so I found Nomadic Matt. Much more dude-ish. There's also Expert Vagabond and Adventurous Kate which I still check out from time to time.
After deciding to go the RV route, we redirected our research. Holy youtube RVers! There are sooo many people in RVs traveling around the US and making videos. I really enjoy Nomadic Fanatic. We've also watched Justin Credible and RVLove. These videos were handy to get info about RVs themselves. They have tips and we needed them.
You don't need to be a traveler to watch these guys, and if your favorite show's season is over, it's an entertaining pastime to fill the gap. Enjoy!
